2 days till the glorious and over rated Christmas....when did we stop celebrating Christ and start scrimping and scrounging to give the children everything they want...the kids at my house are going to be pissed...I am so poor this year they definitely didn't get everything they wanted...oh well! There mother did well this year so she got them everything they wanted!
I'm a little depressed this year...and I definitely do not need a pill to fix it...I need a new life! A warm, cozy life, filled with sugar plums and fairies...and LOTS of money! We all need a dream and I guess that is mine. I know that no one reads my BLOG...but someday when I am dead they will...and then they will see that I struggle everyday to do what is right. Enough drama for now...it's time to do some work!

wow...life passes us by...day by day....

Its been so long, I have not blogged since October....

First semester RN done....1 A 2 B+ and a B! yeah me!!!! On to 2nd semester! All is well in our lives...Bobs laid off for awhile and I'm working as much as possible! Chelsea's school career is not going so well but I hope we get it straight soon! Robert is excelling in BOCES...he is a gorgeous 16 year old. Thank GOD for watching over him so many years ago and not taking him from us! We continue to thrive with each passing day! I love my family!!!

Saddness gets us all...

I do not fear death...I respect it....

As a human I do not realize that every day someone loses a loved one, it doesn't matter if it is a tragic end or an end to a long illness...it still hurts...death is final...

As I sit here and ponder....I am reminded of all the people we have lost...the love that has left us and am saddened that another family is so sad...my thoughts and prayers are with them at this sad time...

Love and cherish the ones you love as life is so short...Never take for granted the love we share!

Life is funny sometimes....

I am back at school 1st semester of 4 and then I am done! RN is where it is at!!
Anyhow, my schedule sucks this semester, work wise! Too may hours in a row at work! Robert and Chelsea both made it in to 10th grade, Roberts at BOCES....Chelsea is taking regular 10 th grade classes.
Leslie and Ri moved to Ft. Riley, Kansas! A sad day it was! I wish her well but I miss them terrible!! I know that I don't miss them like the Cliffords do but what can I say...I miss them!
Chelsea made her trip to Oregon, she had a great time, and no issues happened! She is now a seasoned traveler. LOL!!
I guess thats my update....

every day seems a lil better!!!

ok for starters...Bob burned his arm at work, stage II burn...looks like it will heal up ok...

he now wants to sell the trailer and buy the dbl wide thats in our trailer park...I'm a little apprehensive about that but I wouldn't mind a new home! But a home is what I want not a trailer...

10 days till Chelsea leaves for Oregon...I'm nervous but they will be ok!

16 days till I start class...I can not wait!!! I'm not even kidding...4 semesters and I will be an RN...dang it seems like its taken me 4 years...lOL

Life is good right now...heopefully it will stay that way!

sometimes i sit and wonder how we have made it as far as we have but then i remember its Gods will....

I love my life and would not change one thing about it...
Bob is back to work...Robert has started getting paychecks from his job which is fabulous...its funny he will be 16 in 2 months...where has time gone!!

Chelsea is counting the days until she leaves for Oregon...I told her she was not going if she didn't pass summer school...LOL...of course she is going...but let her stew for ahile...shhh...don't tell her!!!

22 days and I am back at SUNY!!! Thank you GOD! I can't wait....

Where to begin...Bob has returned to work! Sweet sorrow...I'm am glad we are finally back to base line....yet everyday is a struggle for him....as he looks healed on the outside...on the inside he is in agony!! I know in my heart he is not a quitter...and that is obvious...because if I were him I would curl up in a ball and die! Enough said...happier thoughts are needed!!!

Robert got a clean bill of health with his last surgery!!! No more trips to Syracuse unless something catastrophic happens (and it won't ;)!!! He is almost 16 weighs 150lbs and is 5'4" now!!! No more prevacid...just B12 monthly and Iron!!! He loves his summer job...and is waiting for his first check!! Sideways picture of his first day of work!!

Chelsea...hmm what can I say...summer school, Shayden a couple times a week, and running the roads with anyone she can!! Typical 14 year old! And as beautiful as ever!!

The funny things that we learn as we live...everyday is a chance to learn something new!

Well.....

where to start....Both children have summer jobs....yah Robert and Chelsea!!!

I have a class schedule for the fall...its very tight...I am not sure how I am going to fit work into this schedule, but I will!!!

Chelsea is counting the days till Oregon...I am counting the days till I go to Enchanted Forest Water Safari...5 to be exact!!!

I really really really want to get out of the trailer park so...as soon as I am finished with the RN program I am out!! Bob wants a Harley and feels we can not afford the Jeep, a Harley and a house but I am so sick of trailer park life...I would even settle for a single wide on our own property...it's my dream and I willget there I know I will!!!!
Another day another dream!!!

Time goes by....

What a weird and wonderful week...
Bobs mother came and visited...I'm sure he has changed in 25 years..

A bond was made between my mother and his!!! Just for the record my mother is easy to bond with...
Bobs eyes are a lot like his mothers, but she definetely is not what I expected, she is short and small...o yah she did tell us that Bob only weighed 6lbs and 3 oz when he was born and that he was a month early!!! She says she will send pics!!!
We took a few pics of Bob, his Mom and the kids...the trees in our yard made good back drops!!!

While Linda (Bobs MoM) was here, I spent a lot of time outside! And to my surprise, I enjoyed seeing a chipmunk and a snake (NOT)!!! I hated every minute of being outside!!!

I guess overall it was a nice experience!!! And the kids got to meet their Grandmother!!

Now, the title of my blog today is life goes on....while Bob experiences a new chapter in his life, my best friend is ending a chapter in hers :(
Tucker is slipping away....and the tears and sorrow begins...It seems like yesterday that he was born...beautiful blue eyes....and now his journey begins...I pray that peace someday finds Krista and her children...because heartache has been much....my friend has felt such sorrow...I can not even imagine the pain she has felt!!!
My love and prayers are with her!!!
Another day draws to an end...just waiting for another to begin!!!

Time.........

Today its been exactly 1 year since Bobs accident....the reason I started this blog!!!

Things have definetely changed....and yet remain unchanged...The funniest thing though was Chelsea's facebook post yesterday....it says "its been a year and Dad Im glad your still alive"
...I couldnt have said it better if it would have been scripted!!!

I can not imagine my life without him...we fight and bicker but Bob is and will always be my true love....weird I know but I love him!!!

Now another important milestone in my life...I finally was accepted to the RN program at SUNY Canton....yah me!!!! 4 semesters and I can be on to better roads...I'm gonna work my butt off to prove I am the nurse I say I am!!!

Ri J turned 3 yesterday...a beautiful day it was...he is quite the little man if I must say so...

All in all this has started out to be a great June...

years go by....

It is funny how fast a year can go...in less than 3 days it will be the anniversary of Bobs accident and it seems like just yesterday...

A lot has changed and a lot has remain unchanged....in 13 days Bob will see his mother...weird, real weird...what will they say...what will they do....hmmmm?

Bob still has many aches and pains but he is strong....

Robert and Chelsea are growing up so fast...in 4 months Bud will be old enough to drive...in August Miss is flying to Oregon to visit Aunt Allie....

Daisey and I are pretty much the same...LOL!!!

I love my family...that will never change...

March is here...and has been...I'm miserable as an old grizzly bear...maybe its spring fever I dont know but it needs to leave soon...

I think this may be my last semester for a little while...I need to make some money...this diabetes crap is killing the old check book...even with insurance...

Anyhow...Bob calls me at work last night to tell me his biological wants to come visit in June...which really sucks because Miss is suppose to go to Oregon...so I asked him to get the dates she is coming so that Miss will be home when she gets here and I can sign up to work doubles...LOL!

Well I suppose I need to get back to work...

Everyday seems brighter and brighter...I can smell Spring in the air!!! The kids bathtub is almost done...just need to get the shower curtain...
Bob is as ready as ever to get back to work...and I am ready for him to go!
The kids are the kids, bratty and all but I still LOVE them!!

My family still ROCKS...LOve to my PEEPS!!!

Jan 30th.....

2011 started out slow and steady...Back to classes first week over and done with...I am going to pass A&P...no questions about it!!!
Life at home is progressing well...kids are behaving and Bob and I are keeping life simple...
I am trying hard note to fight over stupidness...money will always be and issue but until we win the lottery it always will be...
and last but not least..Spring is on its way....YAHHH

2011

Happy New Year....
2010 was a difficult year...I wonder what 2011 has in store for me...

All is well....Robert and Chelsea are great....for the most part...LOL!! And Bob is on his way to work....at least when there is work for him....Just waiting for weather to break...you know he still gets lame, stiff and sore...but he keeps keeping on...trip to Burlington 1/14...and hopefully that will be it...got my fingers crossed...Robert goes to Glenns Falls 1/6 and for new glasses 1/7... busy next couple of weeks...

Kennedy and Pyper are coming over tomorrow...Sweet sorrow!!! Tucker has to get a feeding tube...Prayers for Mr. Manny Fanny....I will enjoy the girls but also am worried about Tucker...

I hope this year remains happy and prosperous for all...I do have some goals that I hope I can accomplish....
